Hammibal The Pudgy Pig

A Giant Imposing Pig Monster Created By Finster, It Is One Of The Most Dangerous Creatures The Rangers Face.

A ravenous and unsympathetic monster with a massive appetite who lives only to eat, causing famine in the process. His only weakness is the magical herb Mage Cassia.

 The monster was originally created for Bandora to devastate the food supplies of her enemies and consume their weapons while repelling attacks with his rubbery body. He breathes in with the force of a vortex and can use it to inhale just about anything. The objects he sucks in are pulled down his throat, shrunken down and dropped into his stomach. He can also use his power in reverse to belch out a swirling vortex from his mouth that teleports his targets to random locations. His ultimate technique is to combine the two: Exhaling a warp vortex and then inhaling it, immediately inhaling and warping whatever was caught in it into his stomach.

All this on top of being able to move faster than the normal eye could perceive!

The real disasters hit whenever Bandora would turn him giant, drastically increasing his size, strength, durability and worst of all his inhalation powers, allowing him to suck up massive groups of people, vehicles, crops and nearly everything else in the vicinity! The giant pig monster became a devastating force on the battlefield and a force of terror even off of it. 

Things got even worse when The Witch unleashed him on  The Sanctuary of Spirits On Zusneaphus.

 The sanctuary was an ancient resting place for the souls for the warriors of Zusneaphus who'd been called upon to defend the planet from the invading forces of Master Vile in the past. Though outnumbered twenty to one, the valiant warriors had held the dark horde back for one hundred days and one hundred nights, fighting shoulder to shoulder in formation and whispering to each other, "hold fast, brothers, hold fast" to keep up their courage.After one of the most epic battles in the history of the Universe, the warriors fended off his invading army, having fought to their last breath to drive them back. The grateful civilians of the world worked together to make the most perfect ceramic vase they had ever created, molded from the clay of the battlefield and moistened with their tears. It is said that the souls of the noble warriors live on inside the vase, waiting to be called on again in a time of need. If you are very quiet and still, you may hear them whispering, "hold fast, brothers, hold fast..."

Bandora sent the pig monster and her army to attack the sanctuary, to tear it down, and to retrieve the jar and treasures inside.

They were met with resistance of course in the form of The Warrior Monks Of Zusneaphus who'd spent their lives training just in case this ever happened.

The battle was fierce with the incredible skills and super powers and weapons of the Warrior Monks were holding off the invaders well enough but for the fact that Hammibal ended up eating their weapons....and soon the monks themselves. Despite all of their incredible skills, this swiftly changed the tide of the battle. The monks tried everything they could but they were overwhelmed and defeated as the pig monster and Bandora's army stormed the sanctuary.

The treasures and ancient weapons, those that were left, were retrieved by Bandora's army with the rest being simply swallowed by Hammibal.

But when they reached the chamber of the urn of souls...it was gone!

A young monk,  Itoson, escaped the massacre and fled with the urn in hand, holding onto it for dear life.

Itoson fled the sanctuary and spent several days running and hiding and doing everything he could to evade the pig monster and putty patrollers.

But after eight days, they finally cornered him and he was grabbed by the Putties and his urn was taken from him. Hammibal prepared to swallow both but he was knocked over by a surprise drop kick and then the Putties were slain.

As the pig monster stood back up it found itself face to face with one of Zordon's finest warriors: Xena. Without hesitation she jabbed her sword into the ground and transformed into her armored form and rushed into battle.

Xena started off doing very well. Despite it's raw power she evened the odds with her skill and she was at least fast enough to keep pace with it, causing a lengthy back and forth fight between the two of them. Unfortunately she ultimately fell victim to the monster's inhalation trick and it inhaled her weapons.

Yeah this was a bit of a problem, but regardless, Xena still fought on, throwing down for a prolonged battle until she was finally demorphed. The monster closed in to eat them but she escaped with a powerful enough energy blast to the ground that kicked up a smoke cloud. The monster cleared it but they'd vanished.

There was a prolonged period of hunting and seeking until she was finally able to find a good place to hide from it and she set Itoson down and patted him on the head. He sobbed and apologized for causing her so much trouble, for failing his brothers in the temple, for feeling useless and everything he could suddenly think of. Xena just let him vent and hugged him as she assured him that he'd done nothing wrong, that this was the actions of a demonic witch. He was much braver than he ever gave himself credit for. 

After a period of bonding, Xena let him rest while she ran through multiple scenarios of how to handle the monster in her head. Most of them ended poorly, a few ended in a draw and three ended in a victory.

Xena chose the victory route and used a scrying spell to divine the weaknesses of the monster. She soon discovered the magical herb  Mage Cassia. She recognized the plant from research and that it was located within The Serene Floral Dimension Shoigruxas.

She scrounged up the supplies, made a makeshift bowl, cleaned it in water, carved a doorway into the bottom of a pool, gathered leaves, wrote the name of the dimension on them, arranged them in a specific pattern, set the rock bowl on top of a piece of wood on top of the water and then she lit the leaves on fire and chanted alongside Itoson:

Good News: IT WORKED! The Door opened and the pool turned into a swirling magical portal that would transport them to the dimension!

Bad News: All this magical energy going on was basically a beacon to their location. So they jumped right in, no hesitation, and were transported to the dimension. The monster and putties broke down the rubble they'd set up to block the doorway and saw the portal close back up.

They arrived in the dimension and began searching for the magic plant.

But since nothing is ever simple, Bandora had her forces transported there as well to destroy the plant and get rid of them.

However, this IS The Serene Floral Dimension, a crayon-colored wonderland of rainbows and bright happy plants where everything is so sugary sweet that the scent of it threw the pig monster for a complete loop. It was unable to tell what was what and couldn't discern one scent from another. Since the pig's primary mode of navigating the world was its scent, that meant it was now at a disadvantage. But since The Putties didn't have a sense of smell, or much sense at all, they were unaffected.

 Itoson was completely enamored with this beautiful world, nearly wondering off in a complete daze but Xena grabbed immediately and kept him focused. She pointed out that, as beautiful and happy as Shoigruxas could be, there were only plants here. No animals. No insects. No alien creatures. Just the plants. Shoigruxas made it that way and they had to find the plant and get out of here fast.

So not only were they in a race against a monster and a bunch of foot soldiers, but they were racing against the time of the dimension as well.

After a lengthy amount of hide and seek and running, they succeeded in finding the plant. Just in time too: Floral patterns were starting to appear on their skin. Xena grabbed him, grabbed the plant and chanted another spell to get back. It didn't work. The monster closed in. She tried again. It didn't work. The plants began to rise up around all of them. She tried again and the urn began to glow and it emitted a blinding blue light that repelled the villains and plants and freed Xena up to use her magic to get back. She teleported them back to where they were before.

She hit the ground hard but kept her arms around Itoson. Xena breathed a sigh of relief and helped him up. She prayed to the souls of the urn for saving them and then she jumped into a pool and frantically washed off Itoson and herself and cleansed them of the floral patterns.

THIS accomplished, Xena cleaned off her armor and sat down to rest and think of a plan to get the plant into the monster.

The pig meanwhile was returned by Bandora and it washed itself off in mud and grime while getting used to being able to smell things normally again.
Bandora simply replaced the putties with two MegaPutties.

Coming up with a plan, Xena set about setting up traps and scrounged for food and random plants that looked similar enough to the magical one.

The MegaPutties stomped around the land destroying everything in their way and then Xena lead them into the traps and began using them to knock around and trip up the giants and the pig.

Eventually they forced their way through the traps, with the pig eating any food it found, and Xena leaped out and fired an arrow from a makeshift bow that had a fancy looking plant wrapped around it. The arrow soared through the air and then one of the giants just grabbed it and crushed it to Xena's mock horror. She put on a grand act of being in despair and horror over losing her 'last hope', really playing to the audience and acting it up while the pig monster laughed at her and closed in as Xena backed away in pretend fear from it.

Once it was in position, Itoson set off the remaining traps that threw a whole bunch of things at all three of them all at once that distracted them long enough for Xena to kick up the arrow that had the actual plant wrapped around it, draw it back and fire it down the pig's throat. As is its instinct, the pig swallowed it whole and promptly started to convulse and bubble and and thrash and steam its body began warping in bizarre ways leading to the monster vomiting out everything that was still whole inside of it.

Xena immediately morphed, grabbed her weapons and hit it with the finishers, destroying the pig monster before anything else could happen.

After all this, mopping up the MegaPutties was comparatively much simpler.

Having yet again slain one of the witch's accursed monstrosities, Xena helped Itoson with setting up the graves and tributes to the fallen and he left with her to Edenoi. The Urn was set up in the treasure hall for the time being.

Once this was taken care of, Xena introduced Itoson to her friends and allies and her wife Gabrielle.

They ended up adopting the young space monk as their own.
