POWERS: DNA Absorption (also called Genetic Absorption or Aura Absorption) is the ability to literally absorb the genetic code of individuals at once through skin to skin contact. This process can involve absorbing their victim's physical characteristics (though not complex rearrangement of skeletal features, only features like hair and eye color or skin complexion) and even their personality and/or memories via absorbing their bioelectric fields. Many organisms produce electromagnetic fields, and almost all bodily systems require electricity to function. Absorbing all of the bioelectricity in an organism would cause all of its organs to instantly shut down, killing the victim. This could be due to her having something in her body similar to what sharks possess specialized sensory structures known as the Ampullae of Lorenzini, which allow them to detect bioelectric fields. Leaching bioelectric energy from an evolved human's brain allows her to instinctively comprehend their ability in a way similar to Sylar's intuitive aptitude while absorbing and copying the power via her DNA Absorption. A great danger to this ability is that it often compels the Alternate to understand as much as they can, resulting in a 'hunger' which can manifest as the need to understand everything. This hunger could become insatiable and cause its own psychosis.

In essence, DNA Absorption is the more advanced, darker version of Penelope's own Power Absorption ability.  Fitting since she is the dark reflection of Penelope herself. While Penelope is an aspiring hero who wishes to move beyond her past, make amends for her mistakes and become a true hero like the ones she idolizes, Even is a full on serial killer.
