Danger Academy: Queen Elisabeth

ALIEN QUEEN

SUPERPOWER:
Eldritch Physiology

The 'Queen' Of The Institute, she is the usual Alpha Bitch Libby type you would expect to see in this kind of story. She is extremely beautiful, tall, athletic, extremely smart, very haughty and full of herself and looking down on others...but it's a front.

Deep down, Elisabeth is actually deeply insecure. Unlike virtually everyone else at the Institute, she comes from a long line of....normal people. She is a first generation super in her family.

And what a power it is!
Usually, when you gain some special ability, it will manifest in some fairly conventional forms. Energy blasts, Psychic Powers, steel skin, control over different forms of matter and varieties of magic are all relatively common. Despite how fantastic some of these abilities may be, there is usually an underlying science or logic and at the least it seems normal or standard in the story's setting.

Then there's what Elisabeth has!
Eldritch Physiology
User with this ability either is or can transform into an eldritch abomination, a being whose very existence defies the rules of nature and/or existence and is defined by its disregard for the natural laws of the universe as we understand them. They wield godlike powers and are, for the most part, not bound by the laws of the universe. Their true form cannot be grasped by mortal beings and may be interpreted differently by different individuals/species, with others creating a collective delusion of their form. These interpretations can range from the unusual to the awe-inspiring, to the mind-shatteringly terrifying. It is rare, but not unheard of, for the presence of such a being to benefit the universe it currently inhabits.

Just as an example of what she can do, Elisabeth is capable of turning into a gigantic monster made of tentacles, teeth, eyes, and claws. This transformation is horrifically painful, exhausting, and taxing on her sanity, though her enemies end up much worse off.

In short, Elisabeth is what happens when The SuperPower Lottery meets Lovecraft.

Needless to say, her power is unbelievably hard to control, with Elisabeth usually only showing off the bare minimum of her powers, generally just blades, claws, tentacles or a giant maw with razor teeth from her stomach. All while being strong enough to rumble enough with strong Bricks even without her tricks and a freaky fear aura that turns on and off at random.

Elisabeth's powers have made her life extremely difficult. Her own family couldn't comprehend it and she's had to work various coaches to get the level of control she does have over it but it wasn't until she met Savior that she was able to start conquering it thanks to his patience and slow and gentle guidance. The fact that he could easily handle the level of power she had at the time of their coaching helped immensely.

Elisabeth does in fact want to gain control of her terrifying powers and use them for good, she wants to be a hero, she wants to save people, but she's got a steep hill to climb up to gain control of her power.

One aspect she is constantly working on is her unconscious fidgeting
, which most people find irritating but endurable. Until they pay attention to what she's signing, and what should be random, nonsense movements appear deeply, subconsciously disturbing through their import.
