When the friends find out about The Illustrious Pandemonium Carnival is in town the gang decides to check it out. Things start out innocent enough but gradually the carnival gets weirder and weirder until things just start getting surreal, it's nightmarish in a literal way, by being surreal, disjointed, dreamlike, and filled with bizarre imagery, saying goodbye to all logic and sanity in the process. As the Carnival spirals into madness, the friends band together to stay alive and keep their sanity. Derrick discovers ties to the nightmares of his past, Nicole struggles against her own hangups to find the strength to save them all and a certain vampiress strolls right on in through the chaos to throw a wrench into everything.
