ARMOR SCHEMATICS
HELMET
ARMOR: Head and neck
protection provided by a fully sealed helmet constructed from
titanium-dipped carbon fibre reinforced with a tungsten-carbide lattice.
A microphone in the neck sheath runs sound from the throat through a
transducer, rendering the vibrations into transmittable radio signals. A
layer of EEG receptors permits thought controlled commands as well as
instantaneous data transmission. The helmet splits into the cheek
panels, visor and forehead, and facemask for removal or face-to-face
communication. It locks onto the neck sheath connected to the torso
armour.
AUGCOG: Augmented Cognition. Composed of a system of
technologies that create revolutionary human-computer interfaces. Can
scan a battlefield and identify potential threats to soldiers.
SATELLITE
LINK UP: Satellites play a critical role in the military's ability to
spy on their enemies. Using this type of technology, soldiers will be
able to see a bird's eye view of their surrounding area, granting the
soldier the ability to see beyond their range of vision to see if an
enemy or ally is approaching.
HARV: Head-Aimed Remote Viewer.
Allows the operator to look through the lens of a remote camera. The
remote camera will then mimic the movement of the soldier's head,
creating a virtual driver's seat.
PANORMAIC VIEWS: Provides users
with a full 180 degree view via a combination of sixteen smaller image
intensifier tubes and robotically powered mirrors.
VISION ADVANCES:
two-way visor of smart laminated tri-layer ballistic grade transparent
aluminium with an active collimated Heads-Up Display delivered through
fibre optics supplies the wearer with mission critical information,
situational awareness and environmental mapping. Variable magnification
up to 50x normal permits distant observation, while white/black hot
thermal, heartbeat and acoustic locator modes provide alternate methods
of tracking the enemy. When linked to an electro-optical gunsight such
as that of the X-1 PMR, a targeting aid will appear, along with an image
from the sight depicting what it sees. Synthetic Analysis Vision Allows
the soldiers to analyze the content of the item they are viewing or
scan a field for hidden landmines or bombs.
LASER TAGGING: Allows
for more focused targeting. Targets will be illuminated by focus laser
beams, targeting them to glow as identified by the SWIR lens scope. SWIR
lenses are so sensitive that they can, in fact, pick up hydroxyl ion
emissions and see reflected light in shorter wavelengths beyond the
visible range. Incorporating this technology into vision sensors allows
them to detect visible items to be judged based on molecular
consistency. Combined with laser tagging, this functionally eliminates
friendly fire and allows for tracking of targets in dense areas.
VOICE
MODULATION: The facemask includes a passive voice modulator for
identity protection, a self-contained breathing apparatus connected to
an auxiliary bailout system, rebreather connected to a scrubbing unit,
electrolytic cell for hydrolysis and a High-Efficiency Particulate Air
filtration system to protect the wearer from airborne contaminants. The
facemask negates the effects of over-pressure thanks to a valve system.
An olfactory sensor in the facemask of acuity equivalent to 100 million
times the sensitivity of the human nose allows scent tracking on par
with a Bloodhound when activated. The system is sensitive enough to
detect explosive compounds and provides visual reference. It can also detect cranial sounds and is activated by voice, allowing for hands free communication.
HEARING:
Aural reception system can boost or reduce the frequency of noises in
the infrasonic or ultrasonic range and translate them into discernible
audio. A highly sensitive directional microphone system allows the
pickup of conversations of normal volume at distances of 1km. An active
noise control system protects the wearer from potentially damaging
sounds such as close range gunfire or explosions.
GPS RECEIVER AND TRACKER: Allows the soldiers and commanders to know where one another is at all times.
BODY
LOCATION SPECIFIC CAMOUFLAGE: It is an active stealth system
which projects ambient conditions of the area around the soldier while simultaneously changing colors as well to match the environment, rendering the subject virtually invisible and, and transparent by transmission.
ARMOR: The improved vest, lighter and with increased airflow, is raised off of the suit to decrease bullet impact on the chest. Multi-level armour protection, consisting of quad-layered shape
memory para-aramid fabric instilled with cobalt-titanium tri-weave
thread and carbon nanotube molecules, beneath which is a layer of
variable viscosity electrorheological fluid containing ferromagnetic
Magnetite nanoparticles. When charged with an electrical current, both
the outer skin and inner armour stiffen and their particles and
molecules align for reinforcement. This armor is capable of
withstanding heavy caliber ammunition by catching and redistributing the
kinetic energy. A nanocrystalline ferromagnetic coating applied beneath the
surface armor of the suit provides electromagnetic and RF
electromagnetic radiation protection, while a copper Faraday mesh
infusion in the underlying layers provides electrical insulation against
discharge and non-lethal shock shell ammunition or other Taser devices. Suit
joints are constructed from titanium-dipped carbon fibre
coated with Teflon to prevent fouling through friction and layered
internally with para-aramid sheets. An underlying compression layer
inflates in a high-G environment, ensuring the wearer remains conscious.
The suit is fully water and airtight, flame and NBC resistant.
State-of-the-art shock absorbers reduce all recoil experienced by the wearer to zero. A thick Kevlar undergarment worn by the wearer protects against any nips in joints and serves as a final layer of ballistic protection. This undergarment is also flame retardant, moisture wicking and insulating in the event of a suit climate-control failure. It acts as an additional compression layer to help prevent bleeding in the event of injury. It can double the strength of a user. Most of the team, outside of the Bricks, are capable of lifting approximately three tons, 6,000 lbs, so the under armor doubles it up to 12,000 lbs, or six tons.

A thick Kevlar undergarment worn by the wearer protects against any nips in joints and serves as a final layer of ballistic protection. HARD-LIGHT ARMOR LAYERING: A thin layer of holographic armor made of pure energy surrounds the suits, providing the first layer of protection from incoming attacks.
CELTIC RUNES: Inscribed into the armor are small, almost unnoticeable mystical runes that provide a measure of protection against magical attacks.
STRENGTH AMPLIFICATION: A layer of artificial muscles fabricated from electroactive
polymer and built into the undersuit provides increased physical
strength and prowess to the wearer, enabling actions above even the best
athletes. The wearer may lift weights in excess of 1000lbs and exhibit a
striking force in excess of 3000lbs. It is also possible to leap three
times higher than normal due to the stored elastic energy in the leg
muscles. Electrorheological dampeners in the boot soles help soften
falls from greater heights. High density projectors in the boots allow for high powered kicks and jumps. Suit joints are constructed from
titanium-dipped carbon fibre coated with Teflon to prevent fouling
through friction and layered internally with para-aramid sheets. Exoskeleton devices on the shoulder flex open and closed like normal muscles, increasing lifting strength by 25-30%. Exoskeleton in various areas of the suit augments overall strength and endurance of the soldier up to 300%. The Average Strength of the team's soldiers, not counting The Bricks, is in the Three Ton Range, 6,000 lbs, outside of the suit. With the amplification of the Under Armor, this is doubled up to 12,000 labs of Six Tons. 12,000+300%=48,000 lbs. 48,000+30%=62,400 lbs. 62,400 lbs+1,000=63,400 lbs, giving the standard soldiers a maximum lifting strength of about 31.7 tons and a maximum striking force of 32.4 tons.
MICRO-NUCLEAR GENERATOR: Source of power for the suit's technology and battle mode. Worn like a belt,
the main turbine is in the middle(like a belt buckle). The belt contains
the nano-material for the suit. When activated, it draws in wind, sunlight, electricity or thermal energy to power the suit and initiate the transformation, causing a spherical trancer shield to surround them along with an energy based cell reactor as the armor forms around the user.
VITALS SENSOR: Tracks the soldier's vital signs including heart rate, core, skin temperature, and hydration.
SUPPLY SYSTEM: Packs supplies vital liquids and heating and cooling systems to the soldier.
An automatic injection system provides the wearer with
stimulants, nutrients, salts and minerals to combat fatigue, dehydration
and hunger levels in extended use. The suits will monitor the wearer’s
physical condition at all times and introduce them if necessary to
maintain performance. Water and liquid food induction tubes connected to
back-mounted supplies allow hydration and sustenance on extended operations.
COMBAT PDA: Built in device provides comprehensive situational awareness and allows the soldiers to communicate freely and discreetly.
PLASMA SHIELD GENERATORS: Similarly to the concept of the Plasma Window, The plasma window is a
technology that fills a volume of space with plasma confined by a
magnetic field. With current technology, this volume is quite small and
the plasma is generated as a flat plane inside a cylindrical space.
Plasma is any gas that has had its atoms or molecules ionized and is a
separate phase of matter. This is most commonly achieved by heating the
gas to extremely high temperatures, although other methods also exist.
Plasma becomes increasingly viscous at higher temperatures, to the point
where other matter has trouble passing through. A plasma window's
viscosity allows it to separate gas at standard atmospheric pressure
from a total vacuum, in fact it is reported that it can withstand a
pressure difference of up to nine atmospheres. At the same time, the
plasma window will allow radiation such as lasers and electron beams to
pass. This property is the key to the plasma window's usefulness — the
technology of the plasma window permits for radiation that can only be
generated in a vacuum to be applied to objects in an atmosphere.
Electron-beam welding is a major application of plasma windows, making
EBW practical outside a hard vacuum, the Suits sensors detect and analyze on coming explosions and can quickly generate a Plasma Shield around the wearer to shield the wearer from the flames, shrapnel and shockwaves of the oncoming explosions.
BACK: Back mounted voice activated breach rockets modeled after the RDX. They require a certain amount of time and distance to get up to proper speed but they can be launched at multiple targets at once.
GAUNTLETS
CLAW - The Combatant - Lightweight Actuated Weapon, or CLAW, is a specialized glove issued with the SPARO series of suits, and provide the
wearer with a range of additional capabilities beyond simple abrasive,
flame and CBRN protection of the hands. The gloves are created from
nanolayers of Nomex, Neoprene and Kevlar, with a moisture-wicking inner
layer. Reinforced tips and knuckles with padded inner surfaces offer
impact protection. Each glove is equipped with two 'weaponized'
mechanisms.
The first utilities a dorsally mounted unit located
behind the knuckles, which can switch between cartridges holding bullets
or small blades. The cartridge packs hold four rounds or blades, and can
be inserted and removed at will by the user. To engage/fire the system,
the wearer clenches their fist to clear the muzzle/opening and then
initiates a button on the side of the index finger with their thumb.
With a cartridge of 4x19mm pistol ammunition installed, each barrel
fires, thumb to pinkie, with every depression of the button. With the
bladed cartridge, all blades extend/retract with each depression. Linked
with the CODENV, a targeting system syncs with the glove to offer a
degree of aiming, although range is limited. The blades are
fabricated from M390 super steel and treated with hot isostatic
processing, with each blade possessing a gut hook.
The second
weapon system of the CLAW uses micro actuators within the fingers to
increase grip strength, allowing the wearer to inflict bone crushing
force useful in close quarters fighting, restraint or emergency
breaching. Assuming the CLAW is connected to a CONDEV power source, up
to 200 foot pounds of forces can be applied. State-of-the-art shock absorbers reduce all recoil experienced by the wearer to zero.
CLAW gloves also offer a
degree of investigative capability, allowing subcutaneous scanning for
wounds or detection of secretions, such as the oil from a fingerprint.
The palm of the glove is coated with synthetic setae made from
nanohairs, which through van Der Waals forces, offering adhesive
strength when climbing. Small nubs in the fingertips, which house some
scanning sensors, are also used to improve grip when climbing.
