One of the strongest Heroes in the Unknown Universe of COE, she is the daughter of a great hero and a great monster: Chunhua Kudo The Silver Hawk and Vlad III Drăculea, or more simply, Count Dracula, thus, resulting in her being born as a Dhampir, a Vampire-Human Hybrid. The usual quote to go along with this is: All the strengths, none of the weaknesses but that's not quite true.
STRENGTHS
-Superhuman Physical Condition.
-Superhuman Senses.
-Immunity To Conventional Vampire Weaknesses.
-Can Enter Houses As She Pleases.
-Can Walk In Sunlight.
-Healing Factor. Most wounds will heal with one night of
rest.
-Wall Climbing.
-Telepathy
-Telekinesis
-Hypnotism
WEAKNESSES
-Cannot see her own reflection unless through magical means.
-While she can heal quickly, she does not necessarily have the power to regenerate, and mortal wounds are actually lethal to her. However, she can increase the power of her healing ability by consuming blood.
The Thirst. Carmella is still a vampire after all and she does require blood.
-The Beast. More of an inner threat, but as Carmella is the child of an especially powerful vampire, her inner vampiric beast is able to exert even greater influence on her than it normally would of a vampire of her age and temperament. It already appears to her in a humanish form and can communicate with her. Because of this, tapping into her greater vampiric abilities carries an extreme risk that she could lose her mind and become overwhelmed with bloodlust.
Fortunately for Carmella, she has an alternative trick up her sleeve: Chi, a vital force forming part of any living thing. Qi translates literally as "breath", "air", or "gas", and figuratively as "material energy", "life force", or "energy flow". Qi is the central underlying principle in Chinese traditional medicine and in Chinese martial arts. The practice of cultivating and balancing qi is called qigong. Her mother taught Carmella how to utilize this as she grew up, instructing her on how to manipulate the flow of latent energy that is present in the physical body, allowing Carmella to
gain further superhuman capabilities and use them in cases of extreme combat. Some examples include physically manifesting all of their inner strength and unleashing it to the fullest extent of its power through sheer force of will. The control of one’s chi can allow extraordinary abilities, strength, speed, durability, and reflexes, or in some cases, enabling the use of Enhanced awareness, energy blasts, elemental manipulation, and sometimes invulnerability. In different cases, the user can produce chi by channeling the energy through the physical body or by using the natural energy of the planet or cosmos. Chi Manipulation is Carmella's trump card against not just Vampires, but the various supernatural threats she combats, as not only can she channel it from the world around her, but also from within, allowing Carmella the chance to grealty improve her already fantastic superhuman abilities and unleash devestating attacks both in close and from range and channel it through virtually anything, giving her the ability to utilize virtually anything as a weapon. One of her favorite tricks is Rotation, hardening an object, charging it up and building centrifugal force and speed before firing it as a projectile at her target, greatly enhancing the destructive power of a projectile to inflict further damage as it drills into its target which then explodes, and she can even manipulate the path the object takes in flight.
Because of the sheer versatility of Chi, Carmella is able to use anything as a weapon and close the gap that would normally exist between herself and older vampires and demons.
SKILLS
Despite looking like an upstanding demure young lady, Carmella is a brilliant trickster and tactician, she goads, schemes, flirts, tricks and trolls her opponents to get them into the position she needs for her usual off the wall strategies to work all the while rarely fighting 'fair'.
Reportedly, this was instilled in her by her 'Uncle' Darius and the Mystic Detective Violet, both noted by her mother as being tactical geniuses.
The main difference being that Carmella tends towards The Indy Ploy while Violet is Crazy Prepared, with Darius being somewhere in between.
