Jennifer Walters is introduced as a lawyer at the Avengers Facility in Marvelous while the Heroes are exploring the facility and talking to each other. She introduces herself to Webhead to check-in with him about The Mysterio Case and her friend Matt clearing him of charges. Peter confirms that Matt completely aced the trial but questions who she is and Jennifer introduces herself properly: Jennifer Walters. Cousin Of Bruce Banner.
Blob and Toad are excited by this and ask if she can transform too. Jen just laughs it off and assures them she can't. Her power is being a Genius Lawyer. The best in the business! Right up there with Matt Murdock!
With everything everyone knows about Hulk, it's hard to believe that this meek and mousy little sweetheart is related to him but Professor Hulk himself backs it up! Ultimately she gets along great with everyone and even defends Blob and Toad in court over the fight with Knox's gang, while prosecuting the gang, while Matt once again defends Peter over the Rhino fight.
The villains go to prison and the heroes go free and Jen and Matt get paid.
Time passes and Jen does her own thing while the Heroes train. One of the criminals Jen takes down is Nicholas "Nick" Trask a mob boss. After a long court battle Jen is able to bring him down and prosecute him and get him sent to prison.
Nick swears revenge but he's stuck as to how. He knows he won't be a match for any of the Avengers so he's stuck waiting out the hit in prison while they wait for their chance.
Meanwhile, Banner has been having some trouble with Hulk with hints at the original rage Hulk is struggling to re-emerge though Banner has been able to push him back down and maintain his control as Professor Hulk.
Life goes on until The Juggernaut finally shows up in town.
Unfortunately for them, Fred and Toad are the ones on the scene, so Fred tells Toad to go call it in while he takes the big lug down.
Toad does just that while Blob gets beat down. Severely! He puts up a fight against him but he just can't hurt Juggernaut at all while Juggernaut continues to hammer him down over and over again!
Fred manages to last until the other heroes show up but he's a complete mess and he won't be doing much fighting.
After Chavez teleports him back to the facility to rest while everyone else teams up on Juggernaut at once!
This gives EVERYONE a chance to go HAM on Juggernaut at once! You can't hurt him anyway so we might as well have fun with it!
Over the course of the fight with heroes increasingly joining in on the fight and everyone throwing a ton of firepower down on him Jennifer is helping civilians out of the chaos of the battlefield but she is shot by one of Nick's men during all of the fighting using the destruction of the Juggernaut fight to cover it up.
During the battle, Professor Hulk lands near the rubble and notices Jen laying in a pool of blood around some rubble. After desperately trying to help her Juggernaut shows up and knocks him away. He prepares to simply crush Jen but she's teleported away by Chavez for medical treatment.
Banner breaks down and begins yelling and screaming and thrashing and holding his head as his voice becomes deeper and guttural and growling and roaring as Banner's features vanish and Hulk starts getting stronger and he finally stands up again and bellows out a deep booming roar that shakes everything!
The HULK Is Back!
HUUUUUULLLLK!
SMASH!
Hulk gives a nightmare of a beating down on Juggernaut that is soon joined in by a returned Thor and Chavez makes a portal to some other dimension so they can fight freely without worrying about collateral damage.
AND BOY DO THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT! FINALLY in a location where they can fight freely without worrying about anyone else, Thor and Hulk go ballistic on Juggernaut! OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN UNTIL HULK'S RAGE FINALLY SUBSIDES and Strange creates a portal back to the city which Juggernaut is tossed through! He's STILL unhurt but he's shaken up and his helmet is gone.
To which all of the psionics on the heroes side blast him at once and finally shut Juggernaut down!
Juggernaut is taken to be placed in stasis while Hulk gradually calms back down into Banner. He's a psychological mess after losing his cousin and all of the control and unity with Hulk he'd worked so hard for but he's so desperate to see Jennifer again. After returning to the facility they check on Jen. She's stable, kind of, but she's in bad shape and needs a transfusion.
Banner steps up and gives her his own blood to save her.
It works like a charm and Jen starts healing in record time!
Unfortunately...there were some side effects that Banner didn't foresee due to not thinking straight at the moment.
