Suko's Island Adventure

Just because Suko escaped The Facility doesn't mean it's over yet! She has a LOT to answer for yet and go through! She placed all of the information she could onto the internet all over social media using their own computers including her location and then made her way outside. She made it outside and trudged through the jungle uncertain of where she was going, just knowing she was aiming for a beach only to wander around in circles, completely lost. She'd just been through an absolute nightmare after all so she was tired and disoriented in an area completely unfamiliar to her. So one can forgive her for getting lost. She stopped to rest at a tree which she prepared to mark and then a sniper bullet ripped through the tree causing her to scramble into the bushes.

Another shot. Barely missing her. The enemy was still all over the island. Because of course they would have guards everywhere! She was sleep deprived, exhausted, injured, lost, starving and surrounded by Kami knows how many enemies while she was armed with a knife and a gun.

Obviously not wanting to die this easily, Suko took the risk and ran until she managed to dive behind a tree again as gunfire assailed her. From there it was a game of hide and seek and extreme risk until she could get manage to get away and go on the run.

Unfortunately for Suko, everyone else was coming after her now too and spent a long tiem running as she was tracked and hunted down like a dog until she could hide long enough to cover herself in mud and camouflage herself, evade capture and go into hiding.

Finally resting in a cave, Suko collapsed against the wall and reflected on everything that had been happening to her. She couldn't deny that she brought her death sentence on herself but what in the hell was this place?  Who in the world set up nightmares like this anyway?

She eventually fell asleep sequestered within the cave, woke up in the morning and resumed the hunt, ready to turn the tables on her enemies. There was another prolonged process of hunting and seeking until she FINALLY managed to find one alone, jump him and kill him. Viciously. After dragging him into the bushes, she removed his gear and even managed to find a water bottle and power bar! YAY!

After a quick breakfast she got dressed in his gear, placed the helmet over her head and went patrolling until she followed a group back to a camp, sat down away from them, enjoyed a breakfast and interacted with a couple of them until they received a radio call that they'd found a corpse! Suko immediately went on the attack, killing a few of them quickly, dragging another one up and using him as a human shield while she shot the others before running.

From that point onward, it was war. Suko Chifumi found herself needing to improvise in the art of jungle warfare against an enemy that drastically outnumbered her. It was not an easy war either. Suko was very, very good at killing people but she was horribly outnumbered.

Devil's Island Was War And War Is Hell.

By the time she was done, the island was littered with corpses, bullets, ammunition, flames, smoke, and a whole lot else and Suko was left heavily wounded, losing one eye, had a whole load of other injuries, had lost two fingers and was basically just limping on the beach and gasping and wheezing for breath.

Unable to keep going she collapses on the beach and lays against a rock as a boat pulls up loaded with more people. Staring them down through her one good eye, Suko raises the gun with a shaking hand and squeezes off what she figured would be her last shots only for Hinata to walk up to her while deflecting them aside and then take the gun from her.

Suko collapses from her wounds before she can hear Hinata out.

Time Passes and passes and passes.

Suko wakes up a month or so later in what she assumes is a hospital room and gets a look at her surroundings while taking it all in she notices that she can see again! For whatever reason...her eyesight has returned to normal! She has her eye back! WHOOT! Even better, she somehow has her fingers back too and it looks like her wounds have been treated! Not that she's ungrateful but HOW?

She gets her answer when Emily Granger walks in sarcastically applauding her. She is flat out amazed that Suko is still alive after what they found on that island. Not only did she survive what appeared to be a warzone but she seemed to have taken advantage of it to kill a whole lot of bad guys just like her. They have a lot of questions for her so as a showing of good faith they operated on her while she was out, not only treating her wounds but also giving her an artificial eye and fingers to replace what she lost.

Oh and they also took a further liberty of injecting her with a nanomachine cocktail that will allow them to track her wherever she goes.

So, is she ready to talk?

After taking a few minutes to process all of this, Suko smiles and requests a glass of water. She nods and lets her have it and then Suko relaxes and tells Emily everything she knows.
