A genius is a genius, regardless of the number of morons who belong to the same race—and a moron is a moron, regardless of the number of geniuses who share his racial origin.
Student Council President Of Kumihidaka High School and basically Chinatsu's opposite. Picture Chidori Chinatsu as an Academic Alpha Bitch Insufferable Genius and you've got Kanna. While Chinatsu and Tokimune can at least find common ground, Kanna and Chinatsu have never gotten along due to their attitudes clashing. Chinatsu's delinquent-esque attitude and Kanna lording her super intelligence over everyone. A Gifted SuperBrain, she is the smartest girl at Kumihidaka, the All Girl's School built by her family and takes great pride in both her titles and her family's school, hence her taking Chinatsu's attitude and actions there as a personal insult and she's been trying to hammer her down for awhile now.
She's mainly a background character for awhile at least until Chinatsu returns to school and starts working overtime to make up for her failing grades. At which point Kanna pounces on the opportunity. Using Chinatsu's pride to manipulate her into agreeing to a Super Exam to make up for her failing grades. The Super Exam being an exceedingly-difficult, if not impossible, test on everything they can squeeze into it, given by Kanna to screw over students who particularly annoy her as an 'I Win' button simply because she doesn't expect anyone but her to be capable of passing.
The idea being that, IF they could pass it, their grades would shoot up right into the A++ Level in EVERYTHING, even if they aren't attending that class, but if they fail, they're either gone or Kanna can arrange for a plan for them to follow if they wish to remain at their school.
In other words, it's functionally cheating.
On top of all of this, she goes out of her way to move the goalposts further by adding stipulations to the test and the time leading up to it.
1: She'll have to balance school life on top of preparing for this.
2: In the time building up to the test, she must not get into any fights.
3: Nobody attending Kumihidaka High can help her prepare.
4: There will be a PHYSICAL Exam on top of all of this (Which naturally she makes as unfair as possible. Think something out of Ninja Warrior.).
5: And FURTHERMORE, she'll have to prepare for a Cooking Exam And A Music Exam on top of all of THAT!
6: She has to score at least a 398% and that's overall to pass.

Having said all of that, in the event that Chinatsu can pass the Super Exam, her school record will be cleaned and her grades will all be reset to Straight A's in every subject.
But in the event that Chinatsu fails, she'll have to not only drop out of school and give up fighting, but also work for Kanna as a maid.
Despite the protests of the other, Chinatsu accepts but only on the condition that after she wins, not only will she give copies of every life plan she's made to Tokimune to review/edit/cancel as she sees fit, but she'll become Tokimune's subordinate from that day forth and run all decisions by her.
After school, Tokimune uses some rules lawyering to ask Hiro and her friends for help with her studying, since they don't attend their school. They also buy some textbooks from the school bookstore and give them to Hiro so she can review the material.
Chinatsu also gets some help from her magical spirit animal by going into the mental plane to compress a crazy amount of time studying and practicing into a few hours.
All of this while balancing her magical girl superhero duties and normal school work.
When the time finally comes for The Super Exam, she's more than prepared and meets the challenge head on. It's difficult of course but Chinatsu manages to beat the paper part of the exam, casually aces the physical challenge, and then she has to tackle what are supposed to be the hardest parts of the challenge for her: The Singing Challenge and the Cooking Challenge.

Fortunately she has prepared for these too and made special arrangements.
She asks for Kanna to gather everyone into the auditorium and signals for Toki to send out a call.
All of the girls in the school gather in the auditorium. The curtain pulls back and reveals Chinatsu standing there with Hiro and his friends. Kanna questions this but Chinatsu points out that she NEVER said anything about getting help from people outside of their school OR about putting a band together. She puts on her sunglasses while Kanna fumes and the team rocks out.

One probably would've been enough but Chinatsu wanted to make a point to Kanna.
As for the cooking challenge? She's got everything ready she needs for that and she's putting together an old family recipe she clinched with help from Hiro and her adoptive mother's help.
Quail Stuffed with Risotto!
RECIPE!
- Arborio rice - 1/2 cup
- Water - 4 cups
- Reduced Chicken Stock - 2 cups
- Italian sausage - 1 pound, ground
- Onion - 1/2 cup, diced
- Carrot - 1/2 cup, diced
- Celery - 1/2 cup, diced
- Garlic Cloves - 1 teaspoon, minced
- Dry white wine - 1 cup
- Egg - 1
- Romano cheese - 1/4 cup, freshly grated
- Quail - 12
- Olive Oil - 1/4 cup olive oil + 1 tablespoon
- Pearl Onions - 48, blanched, skins removed
- Sugar - 2 teaspoons
- Balsamic Vinegar - 2 tablespoons
- Chicken Stock - 3 cups
- Pork Stock - 1 cup
- Unsalted Butter - 3 tablespoons
- Baby Carrots - 24, tops trimmed to 4 inches, blanched
- Loaf Crusty Bread - 1 small, sliced diagonally and toasted
Instructions
To prepare the stuffing: Put the rice, water, and chicken stock in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer 20 minutes, until the rice is soft. Drain any excess water.
In a medium saute pan, saute the sausage over medium-high heat until it has rendered its fat and there is no trace of pink, 5 to 7 minutes. Add the onion, carrot, celery, and garlic and saute until the vegetables are soft, about 4 minutes. Add the wine and stir up the glaze from the bottom of the pan. Simmer until almost all liquid has evaporated. Remove from the heat and allow to cool for 5 minutes. Toss the rice, sausage mixture, egg, and cheese to blend. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Spread out the rice so that it can cool quickly, and allow to cool.
To prepare the quail: Preheat the oven to 375 F. Season the inside of the quail with salt and pepper. Form the risotto stuffing into balls about the size of a baseball and stuff each quail with a ball of risotto, then fold the skin over to encase the stuffing. Push a leg through the skin on each side, crossing the legs. Sprinkle pepper over the quail.
Heat two tablespoons of the oil in a large ovenproof saute pan or skillet and add half the quail, searing on all sides until deeply browned. Remove the quail and set aside on a plate. Repeat with the remaining quail. Put all the quail into the pan and roast in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until done to taste.
Heat the remaining tablespoon of olive oil in a medium saute pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Put the onions in the pan and saute until browned on all sides, shaking the pan occasionally to move the onions around. After 2 minutes sprinkle the sugar over the onions and shake the pan to distribute. Cook another minute to caramelize the sugar. Add the vinegar and toss the onions to coat. Reduce heat to medium and cook about 3 more minutes, until the vinegar has been absorbed. Set aside; keep warm.
Combine the chicken and pork stocks in a small pan and boil until reduced by two thirds in volume.
Melt the 3 tablespoons of butter in a large saute pan or skillet over medium heat. Add the carrots and cook for 3 minutes, turning the carrots occasionally to glaze. Remove from heat.
To serve: Place a slice of toasted bread to one side on each plate. Put two quail on each plate and spoon a little pan juice over each. Mound caramelized onions opposite the bread, and arrange glazed carrots between the bread and the onions. Spoon the reduced stock over and around the quail.
For a side dish, she prepares Vegetable Salad With Couscous and for dessert Chocolate Mousse Cheesecake.
This outright insane feast completely blows away the chefs expectations and after they enjoy the meal, they give her a passing grade.
With Chinatsu victorious in three out of the four challenges, all they have to do now is wait for the results of the test. Mentally exhausted after all of this, Chinatsu waits in a classroom with her friends. They chat and hang out for awhile and Chinatsu sincerely thanks all of them since she knows she wouldn't have been able to do all of this without them.
The results eventually come back and....it turns out she aced it.
All Four Challenges: 100%.
400% overall.
Chinatsu wins, gets accepted back into the school, and gets a passing grade in every class. Now all she has to do is maintain the grades in the classes she's taking and will take in the future.
Humbled, Humiliated And Beaten At Her Own Game Within Her Own Rules, Kanna Formally Apologizes To Her Which Chinatsu Accepts.
After this, Kanna drops her dickery moments and slowly becomes part of the group.
In the meantime, Hiro takes the crew out for a party.
