Blackburn Cousins VS Brannon Sisters Aftermath

Lets see what we can do here.

Okay, so, scene: The Brannon Sisters are down and out, either dead or just unconscious with The Blackburn Cousins in bad shape as you would be from fighting two super strong regenerators. Derrick is unconscious and likely dying from his wounds, both internal and external, and Tina, while badly hurt, is at least conscious. Mostly. She's trying to bind her wounds the best she can and tend to Derrick. As Macey is waking up and in the middle of healing, Ramona reveals herself and applauds everyone for their efforts. Macey is shocked and excited to finally see Miss Morganstern again and asks her for help finishing them. Ramona just walks right past her though and checks on Derrick, tastes his blood, examines his wounds, listens to his heartbeat, etc.
As Tina is taking all of this in, it finally clicks for her: It was her.
The farm and everything that came after it was all her.
Ramona Morganstern. Miss Morganstern. Miss R.
She quickly pieces together that Ramona killed Thaddeus and threw his arm in the pond to throw them off and make them think Thaddeus was still out there. That SHE killed Ambrosia in the motel to motivate the sisters and then handed them over to this hellhole to use at a later date. Ramona laughs and compliments her for being smart enough to put it all together. Macey is mortified that the woman who 'saved them' from The Blackburns, who put them on their quest for vengeance for all these years, their only 'friend' in the world in this hellish carnival, was playing them all along. Even back then. They were being used to test Derrick.

All the pain of their families, everything they all went through, was because of this one woman.

Macey breaks down crying hysterically and even Tina can't help but feel sympathy for her. Ramona shrugs and casually dismisses her and moves to tend to Derrick since if she doesn't act fast he'll die from his injuries. Tina staggers to her feet and screams at her to leave her cousin alone. Ramona points out that if she doesn't act he'll die anyway and it'll be on Tina's hands not hers. Before Tina can make her move though, Macey screams in fury and rushes her in blind rage. Ramona calmly punches a hole in her only for Macey to grab her arm with her own and scream at Tina to take her cousin and leave. Ramona just throws her away though and informs Tina that if she does try to leave with Derrick he'll be dead before they escape and while she might have her own motives, she does love her cousin in her own way. She can't beat her and she can't save her cousin any other way. She has to act now or it'll be too late. Out of options, Tina makes her vow on her Sainted Queen's Name, something she learned from Yenfer, that she will save Derrick and they'll walk out of the funhouse together and that Ramona will not pursue or hinder their escape from the Carnival.

Ramona smiles and agrees to the letter of the deal since this is THE most sacred vow a Vampire can make, matching or even exceeding a blood oath, in exchange for Tina needing to keep tonight's revelations to herself and not inform anybody of what has transpired. Backed into a corner and with her cousin's life on the line, Tina agrees.

Stay with me, I'm going somewhere with this.

Ramona slices open her arm, drinks the blood and then kisses Derrick and spits it down his throat. Rubbing his throat to help him swallow it. Derrick is healed and empowered for a brief time from the vampire blood in his system.

Ramona uses a spell to heal Tina and repair their clothing. Then, true to her word, she lets them leave while Derrick stirs from his sleep. She bids Tina farewell and leaves with the sisters bodies.

Yenfer finally catches up with them and while she does catch the scent of Vampire Blood on Derrick's breath, neither of them can tell her what happened.

After the carnival arc concludes and everyone is recovering from it, Tina sits down and tries to find a way to describe what happened without describing it. She has no way of informing anybody of what happened, sure, but what if they come to the conclusion themselves?

They catch up with Nicole about the craziness of the carnival and compare notes at the college library. Yenfer and Tina get visitor passes to it.

Anyway, while exploring the library and looking at books, Tina starts writing down names of books she would like to read in the future.

That's not the genius of it.

The Genius of it comes from how she writes them down in a specific order that spells out

S
C
O
T
T

P
I
L
G
R
I
M

And who was the main love interest of Scott Pilgrim? Ramona Flowers. Who were the enemies? The League Of Evil Exes. Obsessive lunatics who wanted to rule her love life.

Between the vampire blood scent and Tina constantly dodging questions about what happened, Yenfer and Nicole are able to start piecing it together while Tina is flipping through a copy of The Bible Illustrated. The Bible. Lucifer Morningstar.

Ramona Morningstar. Ramona Morganstern. Vampire. Obsessive.

In short? Tina gets wrapped up in an unbreakable vow and outsmarts it!! :D

This leads into them looking into a way to cure Derrick of the Vampire Blood....lets say with Holy Water? Good? :D

Which we can use to lead into Nicole trying to locate Ramona with a scrying spell, leading to the famous mental plane duel! 8-)

WHOO! LONG ONE!
