So I just wanted to make a note of this for the story.
A big theme of the story is that the idea that School Bullying Is Harmless is complete and utter Bullshit. Go watch A Silent Voice if you don't believe me. Speaking of which, I wanted to take some inspiration from that to cover the idea a bit more in this story.
Namely the cruelty and the psychological harm that can result from it. The kind of things other stories skip over, this series shows head on and just how hard it can be on people. Furthermore, unlike a certain OTHER Series,

The assholes aren't easily forgiven. If at all.
While Penelope does eventually try to mend bridges with some of them, it's not an easy process and its portrayed as something she does instantly, nor is she obligated to forgive bullies...despite what people tell you.
At the same time, the series makes it clear that endlessly hating the bullies and beating them up is not the best solution either.
While you do have a right to self-defense, it's important to not take it too far and going down the same road as your tormentors.
What I'm saying is, it's not going necessarily be a Carrie scenario, but it's not going to be a 13RW either.
While she does get some well deserved payback, it's not something she goes overboard with either..
Penelope is going to be a Hero after all.
