The multi billionaire genius CEO of Renaître Génétique, an international conglomeration with subsidiaries active in a variety of industries. The corporation has influence in pharmaceutical; chemical and consumer cosmetics production and selling; industrial machine production, consumer products; health foods; the transport industry and tourism, as is typical for a large scale corporation.
Marlène took it further when she took the corporation into the cloning direction when she used the genetics tech of the corporation and common farm animals to begin cloning actual dinosaurs. Farm animals are, after all, the closest living relative to the T-Rex and birds are the living descendants of dinosaurs. She got started by reverse engineering birds to create a sort of dino-bird creature. Birds are dinosaurs so all she had to really do was fix them so they looked a little more like dinosaurs. Dinosaurs had long tails, arms, and hands – and through evolution they’ve lost their tails, and their arms and hands have turned into wings.Furthermore, the snout was changed to the bird like beak, so it wasn't too much work to change it back or fix the genes so they didn't stop a tail from growing or give it a mouth and teeth and claws by going into the embryo that was just beginning to form and use some genetic markers to identify when certain genes turned on and when they'd turn off. Once they had a good idea of how it worked, they built off of that to create more varied mini-minature, docile dinosaurs and sell them as pets for rich children (and adults) and sell the food (That'd contain specific chemicals the Dinosaurs need to live and are bed to not produce naturally) at a markup.Toss in some DNA splicing and nanomachine work to cheat the system a bit and boom, they made insane amounts of money. This method, while maybe not as fancy as in a certain movie series, is actually the best way to create a dinosaur. Because, in fact, DNA does not last indefinitely, even if trapped in amber. The oldest samples you could get usable DNA from are around 1 million years old. While the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park are around 80 million years old. They also swiftly patented the 'dinos' as GMOs (genetically modified organism. the result of a laboratory process where genes from the DNA of one species are extracted and artificially forced into the genes of an unrelated plant or animal. The foreign genes may come from bacteria, viruses, insects, animals or even humans. Because this involves the transfer of genes, GMOs are also known as “transgenic” organisms.). So even if you cloned them by stealing DNA, they could prove you violated their patents and sue you into oblivion.
The main reason, of course, as explained by Marlene, was so that they could corner the market on DNA cloning. If all of their competitors think they found intact dna in a fossilized bug and then used that to make dinos, those same competitors were going to try to take that same route because it clearly worked for them. If this is a bad route to take (which it probably is based on the age and rarity of even the most intact blood sample) then all of Renaître's competitors would waste their money on pointless r&d and never get around to actually competing with them.
Furthermore, another aspect of their research lead to the creation of a mixture of plants and genetics to create a serum with permanent effects similar to an anabolic steroid without some of the more nasty downsides.
After a ton of testing, they came up with a solution.
First, a bit of a lesson.

The LRP5
gene provides instructions for making a protein that is embedded in the
outer membrane of many types of cells. It is known as a co-receptor
because it works with another receptor protein, frizzled-4 (produced
from the FZD4
gene), to transmit chemical signals from outside the cell to the cell's
nucleus. Frizzled-4 and the LRP5 protein participate in the Wnt
signaling pathway, a series of steps that affect the way cells and
tissues develop. Wnt signaling is important for cell division
(proliferation), attachment of cells to one another (adhesion), cell
movement (migration), and many other cellular activities.
The LRP5 protein plays an important role in the development and maintenance of several tissues. During early development, it helps guide the specialization of cells in the retina, which is the light-sensitive tissue at the back of the eye. The LRP5 protein is also involved in establishing a blood supply to the retina and the inner ear. Additionally, this protein helps regulate bone mineral density, which is a measure of the amount of calcium and other minerals in bones. The minerals give the bones strength, making them less likely to break.

Genetic
analysis revealed linkage of the syndrome to chromosome 11q12–13 (odds
of linkage, >1 million to 1), an interval that contains LRP5. Affected members of the kindred had a mutation in this gene, with valine substituted for glycine at codon 171 (LRP5V171 ).
This mutation segregated with the trait in a certain family and was absent in
control subjects. The normal glycine lies in a so-called propeller
motif that is highly conserved from fruit flies to humans. Markers of
bone resorption were normal in the affected subjects, whereas markers of
bone formation such as osteocalcin were markedly elevated. Levels of
fibronectin, a known target of signaling by Wnt, a developmental
protein, were also elevated. In vitro studies showed that the normal
inhibition of Wnt signaling by another protein, Dickkopf-1 (Dkk-1), was
defective in the presence of LRP5V171 and that this resulted in increased signaling due to unopposed Wnt activity.
The LRP5V171
mutation causes high bone density, with a thickened mandible and torus
palatinus, by impairing the action of a normal antagonist of the Wnt
pathway and thus increasing Wnt signaling. These findings demonstrate
the role of altered LRP5 function in high bone mass and point to Dkk as a
potential target for the prevention or treatment of osteoporosis.
Somewhere in Germany is a baby Superman, born in Berlin with bulging arm and leg muscles. Not yet 5, he can hold seven-pound weights with arms extended, something many adults cannot do. He has muscles twice the size of other kids his age and half their body fat.
DNA testing showed why: The boy has a genetic mutation that boosts muscle growth.
The discovery, reported in Thursday’s New England Journal of Medicine, represents the first documented human case of such a mutation.
Many scientists believe the find could eventually lead to drugs for treating people with muscular dystrophy and other muscle-destroying conditions. And athletes would almost surely want to get their hands on such a drug and use it like steroids to bulk up.
The boy’s mutant DNA segment was found to block production of a protein called myostatin that limits muscle growth. The news comes seven years after researchers at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore created buff “mighty mice” by “turning off” the gene that directs cells to produce myostatin.
“Now we can say that myostatin acts the same way in humans as in animals,” said the boy’s physician, Dr. Markus Schuelke, a professor in the child neurology department at Charite/University Medical Center Berlin. “We can apply that knowledge to humans, including trial therapies for muscular dystrophy.”
Given the huge potential market for such drugs, researchers at universities and pharmaceutical companies already are trying to find a way to limit the amount and activity of myostatin in the body. Wyeth has just begun human tests of a genetically engineered antibody designed to neutralize myostatin.
Dr. Lou Kunkel, director of the genomics program at Boston Children’s Hospital and professor of pediatrics and genetics at Harvard Medical School, said success is possible within several years.
“Just decreasing this protein by 20, 30, 50 percent can have a profound effect on muscle bulk,” said Kunkel, who is among the doctors participating in the Wyeth research.
FICTION SECTION!
Adoptive Muscle Memory (also referred to as muscle mimicry or photographic reflexes) is the biological ability to replicate any physical action after seeing it performed once. This does not have to be in person, but can be witnessed via the television or movie, a computer program, or even if a telepath could impress the images and movements inside the mind. It does not require active concentration to achieve the same result with the person simply knowing how to do something physically and being able to perform it.
This process occurs via enhanced nervous signals in muscle tissue, allowing what the brain sees and intends to be fully communicated to the musculature.
Superhuman reflexes is the biological ability to increase the speed of nerve clusters firing, allowing them to react to stimuli faster than a normal human's capacity allows. The Alternate can dodge bullets, catch flies mid-air and normally react instantaneously to what others take more time to react to. The Alternate can dodge fists easily, reacting to the punch as the attacker is still preparing it.
With such a super-charged nervous system, the Alternate can easily dominate close-quarters combat. They are described as untouchable because they are faster than anything coming at them.
Superhuman Endurance is the biological ability of a DNA Alternate to develop a web of osteoderms in their skin, creating a flexible but durable shell that is invisible to the naked eye. The Alternate resists excessive and harsh damage more than an average human being. The skin can be bulletproof, knife proof, and all but immune to concussive force. The strength varies, with some Alternates capable of absorbing impacts from tank shells and missile strikes, while others can be harmed by armor-piercing ammunition. This can include resistance to the elements and other external influences such as radiation, pressure and electricity.
Superhuman Strength (or Super-strength) is the biological ability of a DNA Alternate to reduce the production of functional myostatin, allowing muscles to grow more dense and tougher. Marked by great physical power, the Alternate exerts a force from the muscles far beyond that of a human. The amount of strength varies from person to person. The upper levels of this ability are not yet known, but Alternates have been known to move multiple tons. The Alternate may also have increased resistance to outside physical attacks.
Superhuman senses is the biological ability of a DNA Alternate to improve Thalamus efficiency and compartmentalize sensory nerves, allowing them to parse out very specific details with their senses. They can feel the smallest indentation in a wall with a touch; they can distinguish smells from miles away; they can even taste hints of things that have been long washed-off, or see details in an object or subject from further away than normal humans. The Alternate can possibly even hear the footsteps of an ant in the grass. The Alternate will be overwhelmed at first, but will gain control with experience.
Camouflage is the biological ability of a DNA Alternate to alter their color, consciously changing their skin pigmentation to exactly match whatever it is they are surrounded by. Under the Alternate's transparent outer skin are two cell layers that contain red and yellow pigments (chromatophores). Below the chromatophores are cell layers that reflect blue and white light. Even deeper down is a layer of brown melanin. Levels of external light and heat, and internal chemical reactions cause these cells to expand or contract. Heat sensors and DNA Alternates with enhanced vision would still be able to detect them, however. It would be unlikely that anyone without heat sensor equipment or superhuman vision would see them. Those with mental abilities like telepathy may detect their thoughts, but pinpointing them with their physical eyes would be difficult.

The key here is super strength.
The genetic material largely responsible for muscle growth is called myostatin.
Myostatin helps keep muscles under a certain size naturally while Siddim material follows statin keeps dadon in check so that muscles aren't too small.
Experiments that stimulate higher muscle growth in living things through the use of mild statin use has been conducted before. As proven up above, an experiment that lowers myostatin could be conducted on a human and it is possible.
Superhuman strength is technically sound following this logic as well.
If enough follow statin were to enter the blood it would overpower the mile statin and reduce it.
When it enters the body follow statin have to act similar to a virus.
Basically, the body's immune system would reject it and make it useless or fight it off so before giving an injection of such high amounts of false statin that the subjects immune system would need to be lowered.
So we have a subject who's undergone treatment that has lowered their immune system and we now need to make a serum that will bring them to a superhuman physical prime.
We've talked about how false statin can do this but the thing is we need to get it to act like a virus upon entering the body.
So, how do we accomplish this?
There is in fact a way to get this sort of thing to work this type of molecule called dendrimers
that are extremely branchy and sort of clustered together these attributes allow them to carry more genetic material than viruses and hold on to that material until they're prompted to do otherwise.
Basically dendrimers are boxes with the genetic stuff we need inside them and once they are injected
Basically dendrimers are boxes with the genetic stuff we need inside them and once they are injected
into the body we just need to find a way to open them this is basically how viruses work.
So let's say the serum is actually dendrimers with vitamins like vitamin E and vitamin C which will reboot the immune system of our subject and super charge it.
So we inject that into the body but the box is still shut how do we open it and give our subjects superhuman abilities?
Well, here's the cool thing: dendrimers can be activated by a type of electromagnetic radiation called UV rays or ultraviolet rays which are basically the real-life equivalent of Captain America's vital rays!
If we have a subject who's been injected with immune stickum support in vitamins and a lot of false statin all being carried by dendrimers and we zap this subject with ultraviolet rays we'd actually be able to open that box to activate those vitamins and not fall off statin we're storing the immune system and canceling out a lot of it out, such as myostatin, resulting in, depending on how much false Adam was put in, higher amount of increased muscle mass, possibly to superhuman levels.

So there you have it! The subjects signed the proper papers and then were given the tests. The result?
The super serums went viral within their bodies, resulting in a bodywide increase in density, strength, agility, healing and mental acuity with the ability to camouflage.
After more testing was done to ensure there were no side effects, the results were shown to the The Government of the French Republic and after much discussion, the process was applied to
The French Armed Forces (French: Forces armées françaises) and The French Foreign Legion (French: Légion étrangère).
The result from this is that, contrary to what people might believe, is that France has a fuck mothering army of camouflage capable super soldiers ontop of whatever powers said soldiers might've had originally AND the advanced tech of the 2030's.
In addition to the superhuman abilities and military training, the supers are also equipped with a specifically designed battlesuit designed with flexible plates overlaying a MR-fluid (magnetorheological fluid) armor layer, and incorporating the latest in cutting-edge technology including a holographic projector, as well as the ability to remotely control their vehicles using haptic controls that are mounted on the gauntlets. The gauntlets themselves posses retractable blades and sensors that worked in conjunction with Detective Mode to analyze foreign samples and upload data to remote sites. The greatest trick of the suit is it's Kinetic Absorption and Redirection tech, it is designed to absorb and redirect kinetic energy both to reduce damage to the user and increase their physical abilities and stamina. The harder it is hit the more energy it can pump itself back up with.
Naturally, the Umbrella into super drugs led to some lesser benefits, like advanced steroids. They recruited an Botanokinetic, Flore Beaufay, to assist with the research, resulting in the creation of a plant, Robor Sachhalinensis, that could confer some of the intended effects of the serums to a lesser extent. Endurance, resilience, strength, what have a you. Needed a catalyst to take hold, but wouldn't you know it, the regenerative triggers in their Ambroscus Hexagonoptera herbs did just the trick.
After testing it was safe, they marketed it as a Super Protein Smoothie Drink: Ambroisie Magnifique!
The corporation is sitting nice and pretty now and continuing their research. With the help of newcomer Alexandria Franquemont, they are now making leaps forward into their gene splicing research.
