Brotherhood Of Justice's Infectio Carcinoma Sacer Virus

A Fictional Virus created by the mad scientists of the Brotherhood Of Justice Terrorist Organization.

As I've never done anything with chemistry or virology, everything in here is fictional and for lulz!

The Virus can be injected in hosts via injection, drinking or inhalation in the form of gas or even being splashed with it. The onset of symptoms and transformation occurs quickly afterwords as the infected begin horrifically mutating.

Stage One: Infection. Symptoms of the viral infection appear quickly: within one or two hours, the victim will develop a headache, fever, chills and other flu-like symptoms. Infections last between three and six hours.

Stage Two: Coma and Transformation. Infection induced comas are considerably brief. While the infected host is undergoing the initial physiological changes-slow pulse, shallow breathing, the coma lasts only between four and six hours, during which time the heart begins pumping at an alarming rate, causing noticeable blood seepage in the skin and giving it a crimson shade, while the eyes become white and glowing. The subject's fingers and toes develop sharp claws and the subjects muscles begin rapidly hypertrophing, resulting in increased muscle mass, to the point of breaking through the skin in some cases, and movement speed. Their body temperature also begins to rapidly rise along with the fast paced pumping blood, producing steam from the intense heat emitting off of their bodies. As the transformation is taking place, the host will suffer spasms in the extremities, and the infection will also causes capillaries to hemorrhage, making the host frequently vomit blood and bleed from their eyes and nose.This is especially dangerous, as the blood of a host often changes into a chemical that spontaneously combusts on contact with oxygen, allowing the host to weaponize their own blood as a projectile.

Only the very young and very old do not survive the transformation comas. It has been theorized by their scientists that infections could take place in hosts as young as five years old and as old as 90.

Stage Three: Transformation and Awakening. After an infected host succumbs to the viral transformation and awakens, they will suffer from extreme, uncontrollable anger and aggression, and loss of higher intelligence. From that point on, the Infected will seek out and viciously attacks any uninfected person above any other goal else, even self-preservation and self-nourishment. The disease is easily transmissible through any bodily fluid. Because of this extreme contagiousness and very short incubation time, thousands within one area could be infected through one single Infected in under an hour. The Virus gives those infected heightened mobility and endurance, thus enabling them to quickly rampage through miles and miles of territory and invade entire towns before expiring from lack of self-nourishment. The infected can also take a catastrophic amount of damage before expiring; Even with a shut down of the respiratory and cardiovascular systems, or apparent brain death, infected people do not die and they can withstand a considerable amount of gunfire before falling. In addition, the virus tends to overcompensate when the host is damaged, causing rapid cellular regeneration and mutation of damaged limbs or parts of their body, but as a side effect, their body heat will rapidly increase further the more they are damaged. Destruction of their bodies and or decapitation are effective methods of killing the infected. In the case of simple decapitation/head destruction however the body will continue to briefly flail around before falling. In the event of their deaths the infecteds bodies will burn themselves to ashes.
