Terror Toad Script Version Powers And History

The Terror Toad is one of Bandora's most horrifying monsters.
Notice I specified Bandora's, not Finsters.
Like her Father Master Vile, the Space Witch has the ability to create a special monster via forming an egg within her body, vomiting it up and hatching the monster out of it. In her case, the Toad Egg, but as opposed to the much more swiftly growing Globbor, The Terror Toad needs to be buried and grown in a swamp, most commonly, The Staqits Abyss on Scerth 6K.

It's A Space Swamp. Picture a more twisted, slimy, disgusting version of Dagobah.
Anyway, Bandora prepares this fairly early on in the series as a contingency plan, and buries it on the planet. The Rangers fight her monsters until it's ready to grow, and she returns to the planet as the toad hatches and greets it's mother/empress and she gives it a mission: Eat The Power Rangers.

The Terror Toad itself is a large, eldritch horror that steals the souls of its victims, whose faces adorn the creatures body. .They regularly preys on living creatures on humans for their soul energy, and it has a lot of advantages, including increased strength, speed, stamina, and resistance to harm. In fact, the Terror Toad is nearly invulnerable to harm on its body. Most weapons, strikes and blasts either bounce off or slide right off of it. The Toad is also surprisingly fast and agile despite its size, easily leaping around like a pinball at distances which are far greater than what a regular human can achieve, attach itself to walls, using its tongue as whip to attack and ensnare victims and reel them in to eat them whole. Even A Team Of Morphed Rangers can be overpowered with ease.

Its most devastating powers however come from its Magical Horn. With a touch from its claws, the Horn will light up into a bright yellow light, from which emerges a yellow ball of energy with eyes and a mouth that immediately opens and emits a lively dexterous beam of yellow energy resembling a tongue, which shrinks down its victims and traps them inside of energy orbs which are flicked back to the Terror Toad by the tongue and swiftly sucked down into its mouth.

The Toad then generally pats his stomach, where an image of the victims's face or helmet subsequently materializes, as a stark demonstration to any future victims that its target is now trapped within the confines of the stomach. The image is disturbingly lifelike, but is flat and follows the rounded surface of the toad's body. It is marginally obscured by one of the many red patches of skin that pattern the top and bottom of the stomach. These marks do not immediately present themselves as any more meaningful than perhaps stretch marks to emphasize the dominance of the monster's stomach relative to the rest of his anatomy. The presence of the victim's helpless face, however, makes it more obvious that the red marks are reminiscent of sharp teeth, and that imprinted upon the toad's frontage is a representation of a mouth. The victim's positioning inside this "mouth" reaffirms their imprisonment not as something as dignified as a captive, but as mere food for their adversary.

While the victim is trapped within the orb, they are effectively helpless but left completely aware as the Toad's belly feeds off of its prey as it painfully drains the victim's soul and energy while they are trapped within the furnace that is the creatures stomach. When the energy is completely drained, their soul is absorbed into the Terror Toad forever...or at least until it's destroyed, and their body is reduced to a desiccated husk as the energy orb vanishes and the victim is dropped into the flames and boiling liquids of the Toad's stomach to be melted away.

With every victim consumed, The Terror Toad grows bigger, fatter and stronger.

However!

It does have a surprising weakness.

If its horn is removed, the Terror Toad is temporarily unable to use its energy tongue until he gathers enough energy to grow it back, so instead it uses its main tongue to ensnare and reel in victims. It can still eat them quickly, but doing so reveals the mouth on its throat, hidden underneath its neck folds. This is the one spot on the Toad's body that can be hurt and doing enough damage to this spot on it will cause the Toad to regurgitate everyone trapped within its body, so long as they are not too far gone.

If they are not too far gone and the monster is destroyed in time, the drained energy will flow back into its former victims.

The Terror Toad was initially unleashed on The Universe during the Great Space War. Bandora had Sorcery 7 on her list for a long time but she was waiting for the right weapon to attack it.

After receiving some instruction from her Father, Bandora created the egg and buried it in the swamp. Once it hatched, she spent some time instructing it and figuring out its powers.

Once she was ready, Bandora made a plan and began her warring and sieges on Sorcery 7. The resistance was just as powerful as she'd expected and even her army was having some trouble.

But that was the idea. While they were busy fighting her forces, she sent The Terror Toad down to attack a village where it ate everyone. Then the next village, then the next, then the next.
By the time this was noticed, several villages had been cleaned out. Squads of warriors were sent to investigate but they disappeared too.

More units were sent, and they did eventually find the now Towering Monster, which had jut finished eating yet another village before turning to face them, the faces of its recent and still digesting victims decorating its massive belly. The Terror Toad laughed and mocked them before introducing itself and walking towards the army, taunting them further and preparing to eat all of them as well. The army fought well but they were unable to inflict any real damage on the monster as it started eating several members of the army at once. The battle still lasted three whole days before the monster emerged victorious, nearly every member either dead or devoured.

Kuycrad The Ironclad was one of the few survivors, picking herself up out of a broken building and falling to her knees as she surveyed the ruined battlefield in horror for a time before pulling herself up and trying to find any signs of survivors.

While tending to the few survivors she manage to find, she also sent a message to The Royal Family.

The Terror Toad meanwhile found a place to secure itself while it digested its victims and tormented their souls.

Truly, it was like a Hell. They would be forced to act out twisted and insane scenarios, would be killed by the Terror Toad in some horrific way, then be revived and go through it all again. All while the Terror Toad fed off of their pain.

Now, mind you, the witch is linked to it like her father is to the Globbor monster, meaning, as its power increases, so are her own, so she was riding a Power High, even bragging that if this kept up, she could potentially even surpass Zedd or even her Father! She prepared to go out and destroy the forces of "Order of Meridian" as well as "The Order Of The Claw" and SPD.

Back on Sorcery 7, the war had concluded and they did succeed in defeating Bandora's Army, but they were left exhausted, tired and wounded. Queen Vadasis Temperance was in the middle of tending to everyone alongside her handmaidens and the forces in her castle when she received the message from Kuycrad and made preparations to fight the monster while holding in her rage over the deaths of her people.

Fearlessly, The Queen teleported herself on top of the Castle and stepped forward to meet the monster.

Upon observing her, The Terror Toad licked his lips and told her he would accept her surrender if she bowed to him and presented herself. The Queen fired back for him to release her people and beg her for forgiveness or suffer her wrath. Toad laughed in her face and informed her that if she was, in his words, too stupid to surrender to him, then he would simply devour her and take the time to break her soul, before belching in her face and swinging at her. She deflected his giant arm and striking back, actually pushing the monster backwards before being knocked away by its follow up strike which sent her flying back into the castle but she landed on her feet and teleported back out to continue their battle.

She fought well but the power of the Toad was too much for her to handle so she made herself giant to counter it while the preparations were made to transform the Castle to Megazord Mode. Once transformed they joined their Queen in battle. But even together the battle was a fierce one and they were having difficulty even putting a dent in it.

While they were struggling, Bandora, radiating power, was currently fighting Zordon and his forces and taking on everybody at once while having the time of her life.
