Currently the best boxer at Blackhawk Academy and one of the toughest students in the city alongside Henry Morrison. Julius is well known for his unorthodox boxing style. Julius combines a wild and unorthodox style in boxing matches, throwing punches whilst utilizing flexibility to bend over backwards and hang on the ropes. The angle in which he throws his punches are so random, no one has managed to analyze his fighting style and predict where his next attack will come from. This flexibility, combined with Julius's raw power, sharp reflexes, and reach gained from his no-guard stance makes him an exceedingly tough and most fearsome opponent. His style almost resembles Naseem Hamed, the 36-1 Featherweight Champion who fought with similar unorthodox movements as well as incredible speed & strength. His defense is heavily contingent upon his speed. Utilizing bobbing and weaving to frustrate his opponents. Utilizing unorthodox hand positioning while ducking, bobbing and weaving in the classical style when he isn't utilizing his swaying methods to dodge punches with ease and landing punches while retreating backwards with alarming regularity.
He's so good that nobody that he's gradually becoming bored with the lack of a real challenge.
When Matthew enters the boxing club and gets himself all set up, he warms up and decides to test himself against some of the boxers there. While Matt is easily able to handle the others in sparring matches, he catches Julius's attention and he jumps into the ring. After a friendly greeting, they begin their sparring match and Julius throws Matt completely off his game with his bizarre fighting style and punching him around easily for the first two rounds before Matt finally figures out a counter. In the third round, Matt takes a few hits, blocks them and then he switches to an Out-Boxer Style, evades his punches and hits back, finally managing to land a couple of hits before switching it up to Boxer-Puncher to press his advantage for most of the third round until he gets his rhythm back and resumes dodging around Matt. In the fourth round, Matt briefly continues his Boxer-Puncher method for awhile before he switches it up to Switch Hitter style, switching between a right-handed (orthodox) stance and a left-handed (southpaw) stance on purpose to confuse his opponent.
While a serious opponent inside of the ring, he's a nice enough guy outside of it and he and Matt develop a friendly rivalry that eventually culminates in the two of them meeting up in a tournament and fighting one another, finally giving them the excuse to go all out against one another.
His fighting style could be summed up as a combination of Bryan Hawk and Apollo Creed.
