Sometimes you'll encounter someone who just seems to have the perfect personality to go along with their job, like a work related version of Personality Powers. For example, maybe an old time watchmaker would have a very careful, analytical mind that paid very close attention to detail. What could be better for someone who has to very carefully use, assemble and repair something made of hundreds of tiny springs and gears? Then sometimes people will take this too far. To use the example above, perhaps our watchmaker is a coldhearted person who cannot stand other human beings and is incapable of basic human interaction because everyone else is too messy and emotional rather than clean, precise and easily understandable like the clocks and watches he works with. Which makes him a jerk with issues, but no big deal, right? So what happens when you take that level of obsession and neurosis and give it to someone whose job is creating and using explosives? You wind up with a recipe for disaster. Take someone who has no friends a sociopathic mindset, a terrorist cause, give her a power that kills people Deader Than Dead, and you have a recipe for a downright chilling villain. 

 Such is the case of Maryvonne Allard, one of the White Queen's Favorite Assassins. She is a Fragokinetic Esper, in other words, she has the ability to create, shape and manipulate explosions a rapid increase in volume and release of energy in an extreme manner, usually with the generation of high temperatures and the release of gases. Supersonic explosions created by high explosives are known as detonations and travel via supersonic shock waves. Subsonic explosions are created by low explosives through a slower burning process known as deflagration. As an application of this power, Maryvonne charge any object, inanimate or not as a bomb simply by touching it. Once a target has touched the object, Maryvonne can detonate the target by pressing her thumb onto its index finger's middle phalanx, as if pressing a trigger on a handheld detonator; the charge immediately travels through the target's body before exploding. Additionally, she can blow up the charged target itself, as she will often demonstrate with air bullets technique. However, if someone else touches the charged target before she can detonate it, they will automatically be blown up instead, consuming the charge.

One of her favorite tricks is to create and charge condensed air bubbles and throw them at her targets. Unless you have a very keen eye to notice the distorted air, they are essentially invisible. Once the bubbles are close enough, she blows up her target.

As a result of her abilities, Maryvonne can transform her body into a gaseous state and explode with a maximum force equivalent to One Ton of TNT - which can be multiplied with enough focus-and reconstitute herself. She can also explode discrete portions of her body; for instance, she can channel her explosive power to her hands in the act of punching, thereby delivering a great impact. She can use her superhuman power to explode in a particular direction, reassembling herself when her  particles lose forward momentum, and repeating the process as necessary.
Despite being trained to above the peak of Olympic physical performance, she does not possess superhuman strength, speed or durability of her own. Thus, a battle against Maryvonne revolves around actually landing a hit against her while trying to survive her blowing up everything around you.
In terms of her history, she is a part of the same 'program' that resulted in Apex and Changeling. Upon discovering Maryvonne, The White Queen took a liking to her and took the child under her wing personally...resulting in a nightmarish training regimen that turned her into the fanatical mad bomber she is today. Maryvonne is a sociopathic monster loyal to nothing except The White Queen above all else in her life even beyond her own life. While naturally everyone is loyal to her, Maryvonne in particular hangs onto everything she says and looks up to her with a religious fervor, refers to the Queen as her Goddess and looks up to her as the perfect ideal woman despite committing atrocities in her name....and shows disdain for anyone else who gets her affection, though it only takes a word from The Queen for her to reign this in. 


 Because of this fanatical loyalty, she was selected to act as The White Queen's stand-in for the soldiers outside of her inner circle and she spreads her word to them. Because of this, they all believe that The White Queen's power is explosions, when the actual Queen's power is even more terrifying: Temporal Acceleration.
