The Sultan of Saucerince of Pickles

His first chronological appearance was in Batgirl: Year One battling Batgirl ( Barbara Gordon) and Robin (Dick Grayson) and lost.

Years later he was jokerized during the time Joker thought he was dying (Joker's Last Laugh). He was confronted in a mall by Ted Kord, Black Canary and Tim Drake who all vastly underestimated him, believing him to be a loser. However he revealed that during his stay in Arkham, Poison Ivy taught him more about spices which he put to use in his newest "recipes."

He used his condiments on the three heroes sending them into anaphylactic shock, until Beetle used the milk to stop the burning, and remove the bomb from the mall as Condiment King is recaptured.

In the Gotham Knights-verse, Condiment King is a supervillain in Gotham City. He used to be the star of his own cooking show and he was incredibly energetic, leaping around and making a grand spectacle of it all, all while coding messages to his henchmen on how to plan specific heists down to the letter. The string of successful heists his henchmen planned out baffled the Gotham Police until Barbara Gordon was able to decipher the codes after carefully reviewing past episodes of his TV Show and the heists.

She presented it to her dad but when they questioned him, they were unable to get anything on the chef and his criminal lawyer got the charges dropped.

He waited until the heat died down before announcing an extra hour long special. Once again, Barbara decoded it, but missed the timing. His men waited for awhile before going for all of the heists at once. Due to some plans of their own however, the GCPD and Batman and Robin were able to stop most of them.

Batman and Robin tailed the last surviving group to their hideout only for the henchmen to discover he'd already left.

While Batman and Robin were apprehending the goons, Mitchell Mayo was on his way out of the city. He disguised himself as a chef, what else, and boarded a train out of Gotham. Unfortunately for Mayo, Batgirl had anticipated what train he'd take and boarded it to stop him.

 Using a combination of stealth, homemade gadgets, self-defense items and martial arts, she brought down his henchmen and went after the big man himself only for him to grab her and smash her into the shelves. Batgirl got back up and punched him back. The resulting fight between them wrecked the kitchen.

Meanwhile, Batman And Robin, having received information on where the villain was fleeing to, raced towards the train in the BatPlane while Gordon called ahead to have the train stopped.

The fight spilled out of the kitchen where Batgirl discovered that the passengers had already been drugged by the food. She quickly figured out that his plan was to rob them blind and escape, which he admitted to and the fight continued.

 Eventually, Batman and Robin boarded the train and slipped inside while the Batplane flew away on auto-pilot.

Using a combination of condiments, Mitchell sprayed Batgirl's eyes and blinded her, grabbed her head and tried to dunk her in boiling cooking oil. Batman And Robin burst in and threw batarangs at him, hitting him upside the head and saving Batgirl. Wiping her eyes with a towel, she stared in awe as Batman was pummeling Mitchell and Robin was helping her up. Thanking him, she jumped back into the fight and drop kicked Mitchell, dropping him. Batgirl then followed this up with a 'Lesson In Justice'.

Following this adventure, he was arrested and locked up in Blackgate. Mitchell served quietly and peacefully until he was able to convince the guards to let him work the kitchen, while he had a friend smuggle in some drugs, which he laced the food with, gradually drugging the inmates and soon even the guards and warden, gradually taking over Blackgate.

Eventually, the peace and quiet of Blackgate got Batman's attention and he investigated it to discover the inmates had become addicted to the drugs and when he confronted Mitchell, he sicced the entire population of Blackgate on Batman and Robin.

Despite their incredible skill, teamwork and strength, they were simply too outnumbered to win until Batgirl jumped in to help.
Despite her relative inexperience, she was able to help even the odds a bit.
After fighting their way through the waves of drug induced rage inmates and guards, they confronted Mitchell, who shot at Batgirl but Batman took the shot in his emblem since it was armored. Batman even burst ketchup on it to trick Mitchell into thinking he'd killed Batman. Robin then jumped him from behind and tackled him, forcing him to drop his gun in the struggle. They fought until Mitchell revealed he had gadgets he'd whipped up under his sleeves that delivered intense sprays of mayo, mustard and ketchup at his target. Caught off guard by this trick, Robn was blasted back and he Mitchell tried to drown him in the mixture only to be stopped when Batgirl cut the tubes under his clothes and Batman grabbed him from behind and beat him to the ground.

Followed by the usual treatment from Batgirl.

Once everyone in Blackgate was back to normal, Mitchell was shipped to Arkham, where he met Poison Ivy who opened up a whole new world for him with her information about Spices. In addition, the general insanity of Arkham, both from the inmates and staff and the treatments, got to him and Mitchell competely revamped himself and became The Condiment King.

 After eventually escaping Arkham, he went into hiding and created some new gadgets for himself, spice mixes capable of causing anaphylactic shock, a ketchup that upon contact with air is highly flammable, mustard that becomes a quick acting acid, and a mayo that coalesces into a hard drying cement or paste to entrap enemies with mustard gas grenades on his belt, weaponized utensils and poisons mixed in with food and condiments. He went on a spree of food related crimes, poisoning the citizens of Gotham and the food supply at large before eventually being brought in by Batgirl while the Batfamily were stopping his bombs.

 Despite how well Batman had trained her, his new arsenal still made her sweat bullets to stop him.

In the end, the wounded Batgirl defeated him and he was delivered to the police.

Since then, Condiment King has had a wacky super villain career. Either henching for various criminals or working for them as a Master Chef and battling various superheroes.

 He even became friends with Trapster and Trickster and occasionally joins The Central City Rogues BBQ's.

In current times he's looking to retire and is searching for criminal chef apprentice to carry on his work.
